Support for School Construction in Emerging Nations

Opening Ceremony of Newly Completed Bour Secondary School
in Cambodia

Construction of the Bour Secondary School has completed. Marimo has provided support in the construction of this school.
The opening ceremony for the school was held on Monday, January 18, 2016.
The Bour Secondary School is located in the Battambang Province near the national border between Cambodia and Thailand.
Most students from nearby elementary schools attend this school. Previously, classes were held in a temporary building roofed with sheet metal and were significantly overcrowded.

Child's Dream

Nations all over Southeast Asia continue to see rapid economic growth and urbanization.
On the other hand, regional gaps continue to grow between urban and outlying regions. There are still many people suffering from starvation and poverty in outlying regions, contributing to social unrest.
This has created a serious humanitarian crisis in the Mekong River Basin, which includes Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia—nations that are facing particularly difficult problems.

The goal of the Child's Dream organization is to support the independence of children, youths, and the community over the long term, mainly through educating children in the Mekong River Basin area.
Our management objective is to support the realization of abundant living and happiness for all, by providing people with safe, stable, and comfortable lives and with warm communities. With this in mind, Marimo sympathizes with and supports the efforts of Child's Dream.
